This area was a former site for DPWH. The building was inaugurated and blessed on the 27th day of April 2006.

Taguig City University

Pamantasan ng Taguig (PnT), later renamed Taguig City University (TCU) upon conversion of the Municipality of Taguig to “cityhood” on 8 December 2004, was established through Ordinance No. 29, Series of 2004 (enacted 6 September 2004, Municipal Government of Taguig, with Councilor Marisse Balina-Eron, Councilor Aurelio Paulo R. Bartolome and Councilor Allan Paul C. Cruz as sponsors).

Department of Education Division of Taguig Pateros

Location: Gen. Santos Avenue, Central Bicutan, Taguig City.

The Division Office is responsible for the general supervision, direction, evaluation and coordination of the operations and activities of the Department within the Division; implements laws, policies, plans, programs, rules and regulations of the Department within the division area.

The Administrative Section develops a well-planned, directed and coordinated personnel and administrative programs. Its Personnel Unit develops and administers a personnel program, which includes selection and placement, classification and pay, career and employee development and advises management on personnel policy and administration.


In the beginning it was MUNTAPAT Division, from Muntinlupa, Taguig and Pateros. On August 16, 1996, Muntinlupa cut off ties with Taguig and Pateros, each with a superintendent /OIC. Dr. Aquilina S. Rivas was the first Superintendent of TAPAT, with its division office in Taguig.

Now under the leadership of Dr. Meleda H. Polita as the Officer In-Charge of the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, and Dr. Evangeline P. Ladines, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, the Division keeps on soaring high to achieve its goals.

Like a butterfly that has metamorphosed from a cocoon, TAPAT has already spread its wings in quest of fulfillment not only in the region but in the whole country. It has won in regional, national and international contests. It also has innovative programs both for student and teacher development which cater to the demands of the era.
