Eusebio C. Santos Elementary School was established in 1968. This school was named in the honor of the late Eusebio C. Santos a former mayor of Taguig who served the city unselfishly with pride and dignity. It has a land area of 4,856 sq. m. which was purchased by the local government of Taguig in 1968.
Eusebio was a former daughter of Hagonoy Elementary School which is now known as Ciriaco P. Tiñga Elementary School. In 1972 the school head, together with the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), barangay and local officials worked out for the conversion of the school into an independent public institution.
The school started with 8 teachers, today it is manned by 24 empowered and dedicated teachers serving the total population of 1,115 pupils working together to achieve the Mission and Vision of the school.
This school has 5 buildings with 23 classrooms and 4 non-instructional room. Two Marcos buildings and one-2 storey building were repaired in 2007-2008, a 3-storey LOGO FIND building was constructed in 2004 and one Marcos type building was demolished last February 2009. At the same spot in March 2009, a one-storey building with 4 classrooms was built and is still under construction.
ECSES is in its 41 years of existence, has been headed by efficient school administrators namely Miss Rita Franco, Mrs. Rosario David, Miss Herminia Malanay, Mrs. Emily Zamudio, Miss Melinda Santos, Mr. William Calura, Mr. Raul Borbor, Mrs. Josefina B. Cruz-OIC, 2000-2002 and principal 2004-2008 and Mrs. Ma. Cheryl Fernandez 2008-2009 and is at present under the leadership of principal Aurora M. Marcelino.
Eusebio C. Santos Elementary School shall offer basic quality education where total pupil development is achieved to the fullest with the parents and the community as co-partners.
By the year 2010 Eusebio C. Santos Elementary School shall have been a modern and an ideal school with clean and green environment with modern instructional facilities producing well-rounded elementary graduates equipped with basic education. Ready to enter secondary schools.
